Gadget Gives iPod Users Computer-Free Connectivity

POSTED: 10:26 am PDT April 3, 2008
UPDATED: 11:44 am PDT April 3, 2008

This week's featured gadget gives you a way to share your iPod downloads with someone else without using a computer.

The Stream One Pack by i2i Gear is a set of two boxes about the size of matchbooks.

One of the gadgets goes between your iPod and your headphones. You give the other one to a friend, who plugs their headphones directly into it.

Then you can send your music wirelessly from your iPod to your friend's headphones. Think of it as a wireless headphone splitter.

The sound quality is excellent and the unit will work from more than 30 feet away.

The small but useful device will run you about $130 for the two boxes.
