This free event brings together health and lifestyle professionals, fun activities, cooking demonstrations, non-profit organizations and vital medical screenings. Free screenings include blood pressure, diabetes, bone density, cardiovascular, cholesterol and asthma. Activities include rock climbing, scuba and skateboarding. For more information, visit the Living Well site.Living Well 2006 Activities Excitement from the dance area will include flamenco, hula, square, swing and belly dancers showing off their skills. Chefs will be busy cooking delicious and healthy recipes in the onstage kitchen, while NBC and Telemundo Network talent will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. Visitors can also experience rock climbing, scuba diving, skateboarding, gymnastics demonstrations, an event scavenger hunt and an organized walk.
Living Well 2006 will include the NBC11/T48 booth where visitors can test their throwing skills at the Meriwest Football Toss celebrating the return of the NFL to NBC on Sunday nights starting this Fall. Attendees can also play NBC11’s Meal or No Meal, based on NBC’s hit game show Deal or No Deal, to win gift certificates to local restaurants.Living Well 2006 Sponsors Living Well 2006 sponsors include Glaxo Smith Kline, California Highway Patrol and Good Neighbor Pharmacy. In addition, ACR Investments, Foster Farms, State Farm Insurance and Bay Area Air Quality are sponsoring booths and activities at the event.
