The Raider Nation is mourning a man who was famously nicknamed "Hardcore."Daniel Sachar, 31, was killed Tuesday as he tried to move his car off the road after an accident on Highway 101 in Redwood City.CHP investigators believe the incident began with a minor collision between a Lexus SUV, a Ford Taurus and a Ford Focus, which was driven by Sachar.
Following the accident, all three vehicles had come to rest in lanes 1 and 2. Sachar began to manually push his car out of the traffic lane with the help of the Ford Taurus driver, according to the CHP.At that point, investigators said, a Chevrolet Lumina driven by a 22-year-old San Mateo man fatally struck the Ford Focus driver, who was standing to the rear of his car.CHP officials said that after striking Sachar, the Chevrolet Lumina went on to strike the Ford Focus, Ford Taurus and the median wall.
