Reward Increases In Dyer Hit-And-Run Case

POSTED: 5:12 pm PST March 28, 2006
UPDATED: 7:39 pm PST March 28, 2006

The reward in a deadly San Francisco hit-and-run case is now up to $50,000.

Ashlyn Dyer, 27, was struck and killed while jogging in the Presidio in early March.

The city of San Francisco and the Presidio offered a $20,000 reward to catch the driver.

Now, Dyer’s family has added $30,000 to the reward fund.

Friends say the family is hoping the reward will coax a witness to come forward.

Investigators say they have sent evidence from the hit-and-run to the FBI crime labs in Virginia and tips are still coming in.
