There will be ceremonies and memorials throughout the Bay Area in honor of Veterans Day.

VETERANS DAY |
- The 86th Annual Veterans Day Parade will run through downtown San Jose. There is a ceremony at 11 a.m.; the parade begins at noon. The parade starts at East Santa Clara Street and Highway 87.The city of Campbell will honor two South Bay soldiers who were killed in Iraq. Two new flagpoles will be dedicated to the servicemen. One flag will be raised in honor of Lt. Ken Ballard; the other in honor of Sgt. Adam Estep. The ceremony begins at 9 a.m. at Campbell City Hall.Veterans will be also be honored during a Veterans Day commemoration at the Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael The observance begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium on the Avenue of Flags..In Fairfield, the day's events include a patriotic music program at 10am, a Veterans Day Ceremony at 11am, and the parade that begins at 12:30.m. The parade begins at Webster Street & Kentucky by City Hall, proceeds west on Kentucky to Taylor, Taylor to Texas, east on Texas to Washington and concludes at Kentucky.
