Three workshops will be conducted to provide information on clean up and wildlife recovery following an oil spill. The public is invited to come learn about wildlife care and oil removal operation, and what they can do to help with the effort.

The classes, offered by the Department of Fish and GameÂ’s Office of Spill Prevention and Response (OSPR) in cooperation with the city of San Francisco, the Headlands Institute and the Harbor Master at Richmond Marina, will be on Nov. 10 in San Francisco, Sausalito and Richmond.

The two-hour classes, “Informational Sessions on Wildlife Care”, will provide information on the oil spill clean up activities of OSPR, the Oiled Wildlife Network (OWCN) and the International Bird Rescue and Recovery Council (IBRRC) following the release of 58,000 gallons of oil into the San Francisco Bay from a damaged cargo ship.
