Enjoy a whole weekend of music: 1000 artists on 10 stages for only $5!

The sounds of jazz return to San Jose August 10-12, in one of the city’s most anticipated annual events. Each year, the San Jose Jazz Festival attracts the best and brightest of the jazz world, in styles from contemporary to classic and everything in between.

The 18th Annual Comcast San Jose Jazz Festival begins at 5:30pm Friday, August 10, on the Main Stage in the Plaza de Cesar Chavez. Angie Stone joins the stage at 8:30pm. The huge roster of talent also includes such luminaries as contemporary jazz saxophonist and bass guitarist Gerald Albright (Main Stage: Saturday, 2pm), David “Fathead” Newman with a tribute to Ray Charles (Main Stage: Saturday, 4pm), Red Holloway’s 80th birthday party featuring Frank Morgan, Charles McPherson and Greg Osby (Main Stage: Sunday, 2pm), guitarist Lee Ritenour (Main Stage: Sunday, 4pm), blues legend Charles Musselwhite (Blues Stage: Saturday, 5pm), and Bay Area bandleader Pete Escovedo (Main Stage: Sunday, 6pm).
