Join NBC11 at Furry Friends Rescue presents their 4th Annual "Tail Waggin" Walk and Appreciation Day.

Animal lovers- Enjoy a beautiful and peaceful 3K Walk with or without a dog around Lake Elizabeth, Fremont.

Collect Pledges and raise funds to help save the lives of abandoned Dogs and Cats that are rescued from Northern California Animal Shelters. Many just need a second chance, while a few need special veterinary care or long-term sanctuary homes. Funds are needed to support these special dogs and kitties.

After the Walk, Enjoy more Fun!

Refreshments, Music, Awards, Dog Demo, Dog Talent contest, Dog Costume Parade contest (Funniest, Cutest and Best), Dog and Person Relay Games, Raffle, Silent Auction, Entertainment and great sponsor booths on site to visit.

Furry Friends Rescue is an all volunteer non-profit companion animal rescue organization for Northern California dedicated to the rescue, fostering and adoption of abandoned dogs and cats destined to be euthanized in local shelters. Funds raised from this Tail Waggin Walk will directly support the daily rescue of these animals as well as the development of a future Northern California Animal Sanctuary.

The San Jose Holiday Parade, considered one of the "Top 25 Parades in America" by the International Festivals and Events Association, is ready to step off the holiday season in Northern California.

The San Jose Holiday Parade, the largest parade of its kind in Northern California, and one of the largest in the state, is ready to usher in the holidays with its giant helium balloons, over two dozen marching bands, creative floats, dozens of specialty units, clowns and Santa Claus.

The 25th Annual San Jose Holiday Parade will showcase approximately 90 entries with 5,000 marchers including giant soaring helium balloons, top marching bands, colorful floats, drill teams, equestrians, clowns, and special guest celebrities.
